SuperMuslims Superweek!

Al Salam Alaykom we Rahmut Allah we barakato,

We pray that everyone and their loved ones are safe and well. We’re bringing back the SUPERWEEK!

The SuperWeek is simply a week in which you pray all 5 prayers on time (for males in the Mosque and females at home) along with their ‘Sunnah’ (Please find the list of Sunnahs at the bottom). You make your own schedule (based on where you live) that contains all the prayers and their ‘Sunnah.’ Once you pray all of them on time for 7 consecutive days you will have accomplished a SuperMuslims’ SuperWeek!

In addition to praying everything, we will be doing something new: FASTING! InshaAllah, we will fast the following Thursday (Feb. 9th) and Monday (Feb. 13th) because it is the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (SAWS)!

The whole point of the SuperWeek is to refresh our faith, ask for continuous forgiveness, and to pray for achieving Jannah. Other points are getting used to praying everything everyday so afterwards, no one would find trouble praying on time, and also to gain good habits and lose bad ones.

The sunnah are again divided into Sunnah Muakkadah and Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah. Sunnah Muakkadah means an act that Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, always used to do. These rakats must be offered. (However if missed, there is no makeup or qada for it). Sunnah Ghair Muakkadah are sunnahs that Prophet Muhammad, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, used to leave sometimes without any reason. These are not obligatory.
